I saw this on video last night. It reminded me alot of the video game.If you ever played the game you would know that it is mindless shooting of "zombies".Basically I thought it sukd big time. The only thing it had going for it was alittle gore but that too was pretty much stupid and mindless. On a high note last night on AMC I saw "Evil Dead" which made my night just that much better.

Wait a mintute!... Evil Dead came on AMC?? Are you sure you didn't mean Army of darkness? I know AMC plays army of darkness sometimes but I don't ever recall them playing Evil Dead.

Yeah, it was Army of Darkness. They would never show The Evil Dead or even ED2.

While a truly AWFUL movie, house of the dead is truly hilarious!

I am one to admite when I'm scared and something about this movie really scared me, the fact that after this Uwe Boll managed to get 44 million for another project!

I watched House of the Dead last night and hot damn it was as shitty as I expected. The first mate in the yellow suit got on my nerves bad. The acting was shite and what the hell kind of story did they have going on?! The dumbest shit. There wasn't much gore and what gore there was couldn't save it.
The only decent part was the chick getting her legs hacked at by the zombies with the axe. Other than that. BLAH!

You are correct it was army of darkness let's just say i was a little "tweaked" when I wrote that sorry.House of the dead did have a little gore to it.When that head got stomped was kinda cool.Pause right before it pops and get a nice laugh.

Nice to know I'm not the only one who got some kind of entertainment from this film. 2/4. PURE MINDLESS ENTERTAINMENT!

As much as I dislike the film, the video game shots didn't really bother me. I thought that was kinda nifty. Jes' hope they don't do that in the future with other films. cough

If they use the shot of me in Bloodrayne from the game I won't complain ;)
I also found HOTD hilarious, especially with a crowd (saw it at a festival, was barely a person without sides aching of laughter by the end) or beer... I can't resist anything that refers to Jurgen Prochnow as "the f***ing U-Boat commander" either :D

I enjoyed it. Thought the video stuff was interesting. I also liked the Matrix rip-off. Worked for me.
