i went halloween 5 all the way.
some things in ANOES part 5 pissed me off!!!!!
*spoilers*
you've got greta, who can't tell her mother she doesn't want to be a goddamned supermodel (poor baby...freddy was right to stuff her face till she fucking exploded)
and artie, a relatively cool guy who's in love with this stupid bitch! move on, dude! your vendetta will get you killed!
then at the end, what the fuck? his MOM gets rid of him? i'm totally fucking confused!!!
*end spoilers*
halloween 5 kicked much more ass...danielle harris really gave it up as the part of jamie (esp. since she didn't speak in the first half of the film)
i enjoyed both for celluloid fun, but halloween 5 was easily better.

NOES Part 5, I barely made it through Halloween 5.

Halloween 5 was shite, IMO...Bloody clown tooting noises when the cops arrived...I just don't know...

Both sucked but I guess NOES 5 is somewhat better.

Halloween 5 is a little better. Both are bad movies though, but ANOES 5 was really bad. It was the 2nd worst in the series for me

I liked them both, although admittedly it's probably been quite a while since I saw either of 'em.

The Dream Child, no contest. H5 is a shit-caked pubic hair (huh?).

The Dream Child had a few things going for it, ie. the creepy backstory surrounding Freddy's mum and Freddy using the baby's dreams to attack people. But there weren't enough deaths and they were all shit!
Halloween 5, on the other hand, was a complete joke...

The Dream Child all the way. It Might not be great but it's way better than that pathic joke that was Halloween 5.

Although quite flawed, they're both decent entires in those horror film series, and not as bad as the ridiculous fifth installment of the F13 franchise!

i selected "they both suck",because, they do....why?because picking 1 over the other would make it seem like i am almost saying something good for the films...NOES5 was terrible,as was H5...if it TRULY came down to it,i would pick H5,because it atleast was serious in certain parts and such, but i just can't do that and give it any credit,so for now, they both rank up there in the worst of their franchises.

Call me crazy
(Your Crazy!!!)
But my undying love for Halloween 5 will...well, never die!
This movie was the bridge from Halloween, the scary movie to Halloween, the sell out. I thought the direction was fantastic as was the story. If u block out what u know about part 6, Halloween 5 had me begging for more when it ended. From Loomis being the craziest he has ever been, to Mike playing a preverbial chess match with the Dr. To Jamie delivering one of the best horror movie heroin performances Ive ever seen.
The flick certainly isnt without its flaws...watchikg Mike sail down the river to his absurde mask to that damn annying new "boyfriend" of Jamies.
But the good out ways the bad in my book. Plenty of daytime stalking and one hell of a laundry sequence. And Loomis bating Michael with Jamie. I had a ton of fun with this movie.More so than any other sequel not names part 2.
and just because my Handle is Haddonfiled I am in no way a mark for the Halloween series. Haddonfiled just has a nice ring to it. :)

I have to say Elm Street 5, since it is the lesser of two evils. Halloween 5 is probably the reason why I lost faith in the series (besides Season Of The Witch, but that's another story).

I liked Halloween 5:The Revenge Of Michael Myers more.

The Dream Child is the most underrated NOES film in my opinion. It's not the best in the series, but it's no where near as bad as most make it out to be.
Halloween 5, meh. I used to like it, but I find it hard to watch now.

I'll have to watch both again to refresh the memory, but at the moment they both stink like a dead skunk.....ok, maybe not a DEAD skunk....

Nightmare 5! It was, at the least, ambitious. The story was fresh and different, the general atmosphere was spot-on, and while Freddy was a clown in places, Director Hopkins never treated his audience like idiots.
Halloween 5 is an insult. A pathetic rehash of Pt. 4, with Friday the 13th levels of stupidity.
