20th Century Fox is positioning this family friendly kittie cat movie for June 25th 2004, but that could change. The reason is that this gives the CGI-heavy movie another months to get all that complicated postproduction work done

This is a good idea for them. If the movie sucks as bad as the trailer, the word of mouth (internet) will kill it if they stagger the release.

The movie looks awfull but it has a great cast. Bill Murray, Debra Messing and Alan Cumming are all great. Jennifer Love Hewitt is hot but I don't really care about her.

This movie looks horrible from the commercials yet...

I loved the Grafield strips to death when I was a kid so theres still that childhood hope,

Joel Cohen wrote the script

The director made the really really good movie Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey,

and Bill "I am the funniest man on Earth" Murray is doing the voice.

So I'm hoping it's more bad marketing rather than a bad movie.

I used to be a massive, massive Garfield fan growing up.

And I'm terrified at how much this film will blow.

It simply has no place being live action IMO.
