It was on late at night on one of the Cinemax channels. Meat Loaf has a role in it as does Zelda Rubinstein (from Poltergeist) as a coroner. It was made fairly recently (2002). For a late night movie on at the wee hours, it wasn't that bad at all. Had a plot hole or two, but also had a few nice kills such as someone being buried into the ground and having a bowling ball cave his head in. The movie is somewhat similiar to Wishmaster. The story is as follows.... Brett Bumpers (Michael Weston) is a high school geek who's in love with beautiful Samantha (Alexandra Holden). One day he receives a package which includes a letter and a bull dick, the letter says that he has been granted three wishes but that he should be careful what he wishes for, and so he wishes for Samantha to fall in love with him... Everything's great, except that people start turning up dead. The ending was a surprise to me when there was one of those surprising moments. I'll stop right there. :)

I enjoyed the movie a moderate bit. Bought it blindly for $5 and was pleasently surprised. A little bit to "teen" for me at times, but still dumb fun.

I saw it and it was your average slasher but with supernatural elements.

This one has been sitting in my Netflix rental queue for eons. It does seem like Wishmaster-lite, but I don't mind a fluffy teen "horror" flick every once in awhile.

It has a really nice "who is doing it" kind of surprise. I won't say any more!

I liked it so that's why I nearly flipped out when I saw it at Wal-Mart for 8 bucks. I was happy that it was so cheap but also disappointed that it was so cheap all at the same time. Awesome movie, though.
