The killer turns out to be Roy the ambulance driver from earlier in the flick. It turns out that Joey, who was murdered in a fit of rage by his fellow halfway house mate was the son of Roy. When Roy saw his sons body he went crazy and took up the JASON persona in a killing spree. Many fans are pissed but its actually my second favorite entry in the series. Yes,Roy was the killer. This is probably my third favourite Jason flick of the series. Still really good with tons of tits:)

Hmmm...did anyone else think that Roy was possessed by Jason's ghost? If I remember correctly, Tommy sees him in a vision at the very end. Or am I thinking of Part 4? Or both? It's been a while since I saw either one, so can someone clear this up for me?

he wasnt possessed my jasons ghost, his son had been murdered and when he saw the body he went all weird although i think he was only in that scene for the whole film apart from at the end

tommy saw jason all the time...he was nuts, remember? he saw "visions" of him, and then tommy would close his eyes and jason would disappear. then when he saw "jason" (roy), he tried to close his eyes to make him go away, but he didn't.

at any rate, roy had already been taken in by the police at that point in the movie, so the craziness of jason had just completely taken over tommy's mind (hence why he attacks the girl at the end)

I LOVED number 5, i dont think it deserves most of the criticism it got. Its one of my favourites after number 3 and FVJ. Worth the price just for that cheesey 80's robotic dancing.

This is one of my favorites too, just because it`s so damn cheesy in it`s 80s way.
And yes, Violet`s robot dance is one of the highlights of the movie:D :D

yeah not that bad i couldnt do that dance if i tried but anyway when u guys first saw this movie for the first time u didnt know what was doing to happen, when the chick got killed naked in the woods where did u think she was stabbed her eyes or her boobs??? funny eh!

I dug most of the movie. I dont really hate the ending idea, I certainly think it was pointless...but at least Roy looks like Jason. Id rather watch part 5 than part 9 any day of the week.

Had I knew it wasnt Jason earlier in the film then It would have taken me out of the movie more. I like the kills and I like the old school slasher vibe. But its not in my top 3 Friday flicks.

I always didn't like this flick, ragardless of the boobs and the gore, which was unfortunately censored. I don't know, perhaps I was let down that it wasn't Jason, or the fact that it was kind of lame the way they explained Roy being the killer or why he was the killer in the first place. Oh well, at least it's not as bad as Part 8.

I like this entry, loads of deaths, tits and a crazy story... it's probably the most exploitative film of the whole series!!
