I just realized we people hear mostly talk about recent films. So I wanted to ask, as those movies are my favourite: anyone here likes the BACK TO THE FUTURE trilogy and the Indiana Jones trilogy? What makes you like or hate them more than others? Which movie is the best of each of those trilogies for you?

Personally, I like the two first BACK TO THE FUTURE films best, and RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK is my all-time fave. I like BTTF for the music, the special effects, the story, and because I'm a teenager so the story touches me. I like INDY cause swashbuckling adventure + John Williams + ILM + Steven Spielberg + Harrison Ford + bullwhip = best movie ever!!!!

Back to the Future I&2 were the best, but II was better. And the Indy films, II sucked, but III was the best then I was alright. I heard they are making a fourth Indy, but nothing happened, they must have dropped it.

Back to the future was a great movie. The second one was kinda so,so...same with the third one but I don't mind watching them.

The Raiders movies were great. Again the 1st one was the best. Second was so,so but the third one was a good one. Ford and Connery worked great together.

No, Ascreenfighter, they didn't dump the fourth Indy. They're just waiting for Lucas to finish the STAR WARS trilogy and for Spielberg to shoot MINORITY REPORT. I heard Harrison Ford and Sean Connery were ready for it and had accepted to come back, and also that M.Night Shyamalan's currently working on the script. Since we're going on on rumors (I know JoBlo, it doesn't belong here, but it'll be quick), they used to say Michelle Yeoh, Jackie Chan, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Kevin Costner, Tom Selleck, Mark Hamill, John Rhys-Davies, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Karen Allen could complete the cast. But those are just rumors, and the film will take place after WWII, and Marcus Brody won't be in it, and it won't be about the Infernal Machine or Atlantis.
