is jeepin a sport?

I have a 72 cj-5 I built from pretty much the ground up.I have it built up for extreme four wheeling.If your not fimiliar with the sport it is really fun and exciting.Hill climbing,mud bogging and rock crawling are fun and a good time to see the outdoors.Anyone else here that likes to go wheelin?

It does sound like fun though. Though unless you are in a race I don't think it's a sport -- competition defines sport.

Politics, no. No one would try to define it as sport. Figure skating? How is it NOT a sport? It requires intense training and nerves to go out a deliver a good performance. Olympic ski jumping? Sport, for the same reasons as skating.
