Regarding April

Besides KILL BILL VOL. 2 and GODSEND, there isn't a movie opening in wide release for the month of April that interests me. Here's a list of wide releases only:

I will probably only go see Kill Bill: Vol 2, but I don't have high expectations for the movie. Not very impressed by the teaser :(


But we will see.

I'm looking forward to ENVY. It's been moved around a lot (it was originally supposed to come out last year), but the combination of Ben Stiller and Jack Black just seems like it has to be funny (not to mention Christopher Walken too). Also, MEAN GIRLS has Lindsay Lohan in it, but it was written by Tina Fey and it has some other SNL people like Amy Poehler and Ana Gasteyer in it, so it might be better than your typical dumb teenage movie.

Envy looks kinda funny, if only for Walken. I probably won't see it unless I have a free ticket or something.

Walking Tall I might see, because The Rundown was much better than I expected, and it looks to carry the same fun shenanigans.

Kill Bill: Vol. 2 I will see without a doubt.

The Punisher looks to be a fun action flick. I like the tagline ("He has a plan...he has an enemy...next April he will execute them both" :p) and I actually thought the trailer was decent. "Let The Bodies Hit The Floor" may be an overused song in trailers, but for this film's trailer, it fits like a well-worn glove.

Man On Fire looks fucking awesome. I'll definitely be checking that one out. The only downside is that Tony Scott is directing.

Laws Of Attraction looks funny. I might check that out. Pierce rocks and Julianne is one of my fave actresses.

I'd see 13 going on 30 just for Jennifer Garner

And I'll definitely see Alamo, Kill Bill 2, Punisher, Godsend, and Walking Tall....

Maybe Envy or Hellboy if they get good reviews....

I think The Alamo looks really good. It looks like it's pretty realistic and has real historical value. Hopefully it'll live up to its potential and be as good as it looks.

Man on Fire looks halfway decent. However, Denzel's streak since Training Day hasn't been that glorious.
