AHA! The italian production of Oscar Wilde's story of eternal youth and corruption drops the protagonist in the middle of swinnngin' sixties London.

NO LOVE LOST!, people! I wasn't expecting anything too explict (well.. okay, I kinda was) and I wasn't dissappointed at all. The drug use, transvestite bars and luuuuuurid socialite scandals are the perfect means of retelling the story. Yu can betchurass that our Wierd Lover would've been VERY proud, indeed!

The horror takes second chair until about halfway through the movie, when Dorian's conscience gets the better of him. this is one of the best examples I've seen of someone getting progressively NUTTIER over the course of a movie.. Very convincing hallucination scenes, dealt with in a really sly way.

the cherry.. I cannnot forget: Helmut Berger as the blue eyed boy. yuuuummmmmmmy...

He likes to act with his pecs(and lots of of other body parts!), but who can blame him? There is, however, a really good supporting cast who just Cannot get enough of recycled Wilde quotes. Its actually pretty funny...

Great flick, but I wouldn't reccomend to everyone.. Bunburryists, mainly! :p
