LOTR is over now there is something new!!

Now, as the Lord of the Rings movies are running and are a big success this far, chances are that they will be followed by The Hobbit movie as a 'prequel' not much after. The book The Hobbit was the predecessor of The Lord of the Rings.
This site will report on the filming of The Hobbit and gives information on places and persons of the story.
Apart from that, books and collecting informes about new and old books by Tolkien.

Ian McKellen confirms the legal difficulties in making The Hobbit and says, once it is sorted Peter Jackson does want to make it, and that he very much wants to play Gandalf the Grey again.
Then there's The Hobbit, Tolkien's prequel to the Rings adventures. Wood says that while the crews in New Zealand are up for it, Jackson initially said no because he had already invested a large part of his life in the trilogy.

ill see this if its made as long as McKellen plays Gandalf and Jackson directs although this wont happen for a number of years as Jackson is now gonna do his remake of King Kong which willprobably mean the earliest itll come out is 2007
