Not sure if there was a thread for this yet, but Richard Kelly (director of Donnie Darko) is hoping to make a new movie and get it out as his second film in 2005.

Not sure of this one, says he wants to go more commercial and make a more mainstream movie. Probably not similar to his dark and independent 1st film. :( But I trust his judgement and hope to see progress.

there's been a couple threads about it already. If you're not sure about whether or not there's been a thread for it try using the search tool. And he's been working on this one for a while now, but sounds like things are starting to get closer to production.
