Unless they come up with a really novel take on this, the whole series has been downhill since batman returns.

Oh well - flame away...

There's no reason why that can't change it around. All early signs point to this movie being a complete change from the campy, crappy batman movies made before. Christopher Nolan, Bale, Caine, Neeson and the list goes on, its looky like they might prove you two guys wrong.

ANY Batman reincarnation would be better than the crap Joel Schumacher threw our way. Better yet, get Tim Burton in on the act again.

Try making that statement after Intimidation Game comes out.

With a talented director like Nolan, he's sure to turn around the franchise and give us a mighty good film!

I'm just looking forward to seeing how he makes it different from the others. I just want to see the little nolan touches that could really turn the franchise around.

I think even when Batman and Batman Returns were good movies they still were CAMPY, it surprises me how many people forgot that.

I think the new Batman canīt be at all campy, so if Nolan goes back to repeating Burtonīs style he would be mistaken.

Anyway I donīt think that would happen, I believe Nolan is doing something unique, that tempts me to make bets against the people who say the franchise is dead
