Hey everybody...I remember seeing Night of the Demons in 6th grade and thinking how cool it was....I can't remember anything else about it except a girl named Angela in a black dress, a black guy living....I THINK??? and Linnea Quigley sp? sticking a tube of lip stick in her nipple....does anyone own this film or find it very entertaining, and just how many sequels are there...see at the video store I work at....they only have part two, but I know that my baby Christine Taylor...aka Mrs. Ben Stiller and Marcia from the Brady Bunch movies....but I remember her best in Hey Dude and the Craft as the bitch....anyways I'm in love with her and I know she is in it...can anyone tell me what kinda of part she has and please please no spoliers.....Anyways, if anyone has some info on these films and some opinions please share them with me....later!

All of the NIGHT OF THE DEMONS movies are very good entertainment. The first, is obviously, the best. But PARTS 2 and 3, whilst not scary, are great fun. Typical slumber party movies to just chill out and have a beer to. I have to say though I don't remember much about PART 2 because I've only seen it once, about 6 years ago. But I remember thinking it kicked ass! As far as I know CHRISTINE TAYLOR played one of the potential victims, but not sure whether she was one of the bitches or the 'virgin'!
I can't get hold of either of the first two (apparantly the original is available R1 but every place is out of stock - it must be fucking discontinued), and the sequel I only saw because it was on a cable channel one night. I DO own PART 3 though, on R2 dvd. In the UK it's called DEMON HOUSE. It's a kick ass little film.

I think this is such an underrated series....Part 1 I enjoyed a small bit,but not alot,I thought it was VERY weak and bad...part 2 is the best and just so kickass and fun,and 3 is so damn fun as well, parts 2 & 3 are best.

Christine Taylor plays the stereotype bitch role.

I truly wish these movies would have been in more of a theatrical release then they were.

I used to own it,but traded it on the boards...I still have part 2 of course...I'd love to get the 2nd & 3rd on DVD...I obviously got rid of the 1st because I didn't enjoy it too much.

This is good news, cos as I said, I've seen the original on various sites, but the dvd seems to have been released and then pulled, or just deleted ala CLOWNHOUSE!! Everywhere just says it isn't available anymore!! So this news makes me smile!!!

Nope, can't say I did...didn't feel as fun and good as in comparision to the 2 sequels, espicially pt. 2.....

and glad to see part 1 is getting a dvd release,I want the 2 sequels out on Region 1 though dammit...does anchor bay own the rights to the 2 sequels?

I feel the opposite way as Cory - I really liked the original but didn`t really dig Part 2. Haven`t seen 3.

And Psychopath, I seem to remember Christine Taylor has a fairly substantial role in Part 2....I think she`s in it more than in "The Craft".....if you`re nuts about her, then yeah go ahead and rent it....though IMO the first movie is a lot more fun.

The second film is cool, but I, too, prefer the original. It captures the Halloween vibe to perfection. Plus, the hackneyed characters are fun to laugh at/with. It helps when the actors realize that they're playing vapid stereotypes.

And let`s not forget the first movie features some Classic Lines, such as:

Stooge (fat party animal): "EAT A BOWL OF FUCK"!

and

Black Guy: "Shit! Hell my ass"!

Suzie ~ "Far fucking out!"

Stooge ~ "Man, I can't take this bitch anywhere!"

I used "EAT A BOWL OF FUCK" at work once, and it was a big hit. Had people saying it for days.

Guys correct me if I'm wrong but I think the black dude is called ROGER. If this is true, my memory is fantastic because I've only seen this movie once and that was about 8 years ago when I was about 14.But I loved it so that's why parts of it stick with me!! (The same goes for SLAUGHTER HIGH)

Of course, I could be totally wrong!LOL

Yeah I think maybe you`re right, his name was Roger!

I didn`t mean any disrespect by calling him 'black dude' BTW, I didn`t remember his character`s name and, let`s face it, he was the 'tokken black guy' in the movie.

ELGYN -

Oh yeah don't worry dude, I didn't think that! It's just when I saw you put him down as the 'black dude' I thought "Hang on a minute I think I remember his bloody name!" Ideal.

*****SPOILERS****

I haven't seen the original in probably about 10 years, so I can't remember much about it, but can somebody explain this to me?

I remember the final survivors running away from the demons and climbing the fence to freedom (on the other side of an underground stream I think), anyway, when the film goes to the next morning, doesn't it end with an old woman and her husband in their home? She gives him coffee or something and he drinks it, only to have his throat split open or something?

As I said, this is a very vague memory but I remember the guy dying at the table while his wife smiled? Have I gone totally looney, or can somebody clarify this for me?

***SPOILERS***
In the opening of the movie, the old guy is pissed at kids and starts putting razorblades in apples (what a great guy!).
Anyways, at the end, the old guy`s wife gives him a slice of fresh apple pie.........guess which apples she used.
