What happens when you watch a movie made in colour on a black and white tv apart from the obvious. Eg, like reasons why Hitchcocks Psycho isnt in colour.
IF Hitchcock made Psycho in colour and didnt change a thing and i watched it on a b and w tv would it be the same?

I'm not quite sure what you are asking here. Everything you watch on a black and white tv is well.. black and white.
Getting to the Psycho part, I think it was very effective in B&W, the use of shadows added mucho suspense in my opinion. Just the overall dreary feel of the film was intensified by the use of B&W.

Negative....Because if he were to have shot in color the movie would have been directed totally different.....The reason he used B&W was so he could use B&W lighting....If it were in color the shadowy effects wouldn't be there.

Psycho maaaaybe could have been done in color. But what Hitch used during that shower scence would have not looked dramatic seen in color.
