Shall I say, Requeim For A Dream? Well, that's mine, and what might yours be?

That one is pretty good. I like Donnie Darko, Fight Club, Mulholland Drive, Wild at heart, and House of 1000 corpses.

For me, it's BRAVEHEART by James Horner.

No matter how many times I see this movie, the music alone sucks me in, every time.

The Fountain or Candyman

The score for Akira also deserves mention for being really unique and cutting edge even 19 years later.

I also love Shawshank Redemption and Field Of Dreams scores.

The score for The Straight Story by Angelo Badalamenti. Very beautiful music, brought me to tears.

I think Vangelis also deserves credit for his scores for Chariots of Fire, Blade Runner, and Missing which made electronica scores a more acceptable thing.

anything Clint Mansell does is fucking awesome

i love The Fountain

and am excited as shit that on July 17, i can finally pick up the SMOKIN' ACES score!

I personally think Smokin' Aces is one of my all time favorite flicks... nbut whatever your tastes are towards that flick... no one can deny the score was fucking amazing!

The ending score.. you know, when the guy does the thing...!!! that score is bad fuckin ass!

I'm also a fan of the Pirates of the Caribbean scores, and obviously Requiem is one of the all time best

The Island and Armageddon also have pretty bad ass scores, as i have found many Michael Bay films have great scores (i also fuckin love every Michael Bay flick... and again, regardless of your opinions on his flicks, no one can deny the scores are fuckin amazing)!

Took the words out of my mouth but I would probably replace sorcerer with Near Dark.

The candyman score is near perfect.

Also John Carpenters work is pretty much top shelf A-ok stuff.

yeah john carpenter's assult on precinct 13 and the fog are my faves, I also like Angelo Badalamenti job on city of lost children too, not to mention his work with lynch. I was lisening to the near dark soundtrack the other day and I'm not sure it works so well on its own, the reason i got into the sorcerer was when i saw the old trailer for the warriors and they had used a track from it as the soundtrack to that ad.
