Some of you might know about the experimental project that DJ Danger Mouse undertook recently. He put the vocals from Jay-Z's The Black Album over completely new beats using The Beatles The White Album as the sole source material. Now, before you all get your panties in a wad over your precious Beatles you should maybe give it a listen before you judge. This is a really inventive concept, and came out really good. Jay-Z is a very talented MC, and this is the best stuff I've ever heard that has him involved. It has a lot more rock elements than most hip-hop/rap. Half the time it is hard tell that the beats being used are even from The White Album, but there are some instances where it is very evident.
