Ok, I'm burning some songs onto CDS onto Re-Writable disks but once I've burnt music onto the disk I can't seem to find a way to erase the cd and start over. Help!

You don't. Just rack up on blank CD's and try again.

Then why the hell are the discs called Re-Writable?

If you right click on the disc in your My Computer there should be a Format Disc option on the menu that pops up. Alternatively...if you are using Nero there's an option in the Recorder pop-down menu for Erase Re-Writable Disc. Hope this helps.
