What do you think are the most intense songs ever written, meaning the ones where you can hear the musicians playing like they have something to say, like they really meant it--the two that come to mind for me are:
Gimme Shelter--The Rolling Stones (such a scary song, the guitars crash, "war...its just a shot away")
While My Guitar Gently Weeps--The beatles (crazy work by Harrison)

The Dead Flag by Godspeed You Black Emperor!
What could be more instense than the apocalypse?

Clapton does the guitar work in that song.
Try Born To Kill by the Matthew Good Band. It's a pretty intense song...

Pretty much anything on The Holy Bible.
I find She's Lost Control by Joy Division extremely "intense".

"Heroin" by Louie Reed and the Velvet Underground. Near the end there complete pandemonium breaks out - pretty damn intense - in a drug sort of way.

"The Power Cosmic 2000 part 1"- Joe Satriani

"Wall of Denial"- Stevie Ray Vaughan
"Cochise"- Audioslave
There are so many more...

If you want possibly THE most intense song ever made, listen to THE BLUE MASK by Lou Reed. Pure insanity in the music, lyrics, everything. WAVES OF FEAR is another Lou song thats pretty damned crazy... but everyone reading this post should do anything possible to hear THE BLUE MASK. Get it, trust me!
'Daddy' from the 1st Korn album. Unnerved the hell out of me aged 14.
