Ok, we already got a best of arrow's #1's why not the whole lists of each year, and remember the FULL LIST. If you did not see a flick on the list you like better than the others just vote for than one anyway. Here we go(you can also rate with honorable mentions):

HM: The Ring(remake) & Devils Backbone

2001:
1. The Others
2. Memento
3. Mullholland Drive

Yes, I agree 2001 was probably the best. I like at least one movie from each year, so it's rather hard. But 2001 is probably the best...

Mullholland Dr. and Memento.

THE LATE, GREAT 2001

Although 2002 was no slouch, either!

2001 followed closely by 2000.

I'd have to say that the 2001 list looks the best.

The Others - 9/10
Memento - 10/10
Mulholland Drive - 9/10

The rest on the list I haven't seen, but they do look pretty damn good.

As for the honourable mentions;

Joyride - 8/10
Jeepers Creepers - 4/10 (disagreed on this one, but the rest look solid)

2002 clinches it, but 2001 is a very close second.

I voted for 2000 (yesterday), on the strength of the memorable Final Destination, the brilliantly bleak Unbreakable, and the unquestionable excellence of 'the version you never saw' of The Exorcist.

2003:
Out of what i've seen;
Equilibrium (I was disappointed with this, but Christian Bale is still the shit)
Terminator 3 (Awesome sequel)
Freddy Vs. Jason (Bad acting, T&A, good gore-all the makings of a classic)
Wrong Turn (Fun times)
Final Destination 2 (Even more fun times)
Undead (Loved the gore, but the sci-fi arc was a little lacking, but admirable for a debut)

2002:
Frailty (Highly underrated)
Signs (Edge of your seat stuff, but perhaps a bit overrated)
Donnie Darko (A gem)
May (A surprise in the best sense of the word)
Resident Evil (Good fun)
Blade 2 (Who gives a shit about story, when the action is this good)
Mothman Prophecies (Interesting film)
Dog Soldiers (Fun, fun, fun)
Jason X (Good gore, crappy everything else)
The Ring (Loved this)

2001:
The Others (Solid)
Mullholland Drive (Mind fuck, but still interesting viewing)
The Hole (Keira Knightley. Enough said)
From Hell (Can't go wrong with Depp)
Ginger Snaps (Good little flick)
Ghost of Mars (Good for a brainless night of entertainment)
Joyride (Edge of your seat suspense with a good sense of humour)
Jeepers Creepers (Lost a little steam after the first half, but still fun horror viewing)

2000:
American Psycho (Exceptional adaptation)
Requiem For a dream (A horror movie in every sense of the word)
The Cell (Disturbing viewing)
Crow Salvation (Underrated)
Final Destination (How much fun is this one?)
The Excorsist (Not the great horror movie I was expecting)
Dracula 2000 (Fun and harmless)

I think 2002 wins for me. But every year has offered decent horror viewing.

me myself if I would have to go in order it would be:
1.2001
2.2002
3.2000
4.2003

Thats not saying I didn't like 2003 its just that I think House, FVJ, 28 days and Underworld were just average(well maybe not 28 days & FvJ was fun times)...but I think that House pales in the wake of Frailty, AP, & The others(probably my least fave on 2001 list and it was #1). Ok, I rambled for way too long on this subject.

I prefer my films action packed and over the top so I went with 2003.

Freddy Vs Jason, Equilibrium, FD 2, Wrong Turn, Underworld... I love em all!!! T3 was decent too.
