Ok so after their final record, an "Anthology" album, one of the most hated bads ever is almost offically separated. Not only did they say they were taking 'time off', The band (Tremmonti, Philips and (get this) Marshall) are about to do ANOTHER band without Stapp (Uh...how's it gonna be called? "Freed"?), which in my opinion is idiotic 'cause Creed was Creed because of the frontman, Stapp...I've discussed this with other fans, they all say that the new band will probably be just another Creed minus charisma...I mean, I never disliked any other member but come on. And secondly, Stapp is releasing a solo album in the end of 2004, one I'll surely buy.

The problem is that now Stapp also wants to start a frickin' acting career, which I'm opposed to, he probably CAN'T act but whatever, his music I'll buy.

Okay I must say that for a band that is hated so much, they do sell a helluva lot of records! ;)

Anywho, I actually bought Creed's last CD as I liked the first single off of it. It was on special for 8.99 so I said what the hell.

I took it home, listened to it once, and I have never listened to it since. Horrible, awful, horrendous album. I hated it!

I could care less, honestly, if Creed broke up or not......they are just too boring for words.

The first album actually wasn`t half bad IMO....but then they started to get really, really.....well...gay.
I mean, that "With Arms Wide Open" crap, puh-leees.

And what always got me about Creed (and Scott Stapp in particular) is that even though a number of their songs were blatently Christian-oriented, Scott STILL maintained, till the very end, that they were NOT a Christian rock band. If they`re going to be Christian, then why deny it publicly?

Anyways, good riddence. They sucked. Listen to Pearl Jam instead.

I think the main reason people hate Creed is because of their mainstream popularity and that their songs are religious. (Stapp can't really expect anyone to believe that they aren't religious after that Behind The Music episode.) I hate to contradict so many, but they have some incredible songs on their first two albums. I know Weathered wasn't as good, but it had its moments too. Oh well...music is subjective at best, so to each their own.

Actually, the one plus I always thought Creed has was the band itself, and without Stapp, maybe they'll be better.

I've hated Stapp ever since he compared Creed to Led Zeppelin.

Well, I don't understand why everyone hates Creed. They're really not that bad. I'm not a big fan, but I will admit that they have released some great songs. I believe everyone hates Creed because their music is very spiritual and religious. Nevertheless, to each his own - everyone's taste in music is different.

Oh, btw, you want to know a dark secret about another Rock band? P.O.D. is actually a Christian rock band. If you don't believe me, just go to any Christian music store, and you will find every single cd P.O.D. has ever released. I hope I don't bring down any hate upon P.O.D. now.... :D

Everone hates them because they suck. Just like P.O.D. And Scott Stapp is one ugly, long-haired, bad-singing motherfucker. Well, actually, that's why I hate them. But I'm sure others agree.

LOL! Well, I agree that Scott Stapp and Sonny (forgot his last name) are not very handsome men and that they're in desperate need of a haircut. But I do think they sing well, and some of their music/songs are pretty damn solid..... :D

Creed's first album was very very good, I like most of the songs on there. I didn't get Human Clay, but aside from the song Bullets, Weathered was horrible. P.O.D. is decent, but there new album sucks balls. I do like The Fundamental Elements Of Southtown and Satallite. All in all, I'm extremely happy that Creed is breaking up.

I always liked Creed. A lot. They're cd's were some of the select few that I could put on and listen to the entire cd without skipping any songs. I actually feel that Weathered is their best cd. Sucks that they are breaking up. Oh well, I still have their cd's so I can listen to them forever anyways.

I don't understand people are "Happy they are breaking up". Why?? Because someone had put you in a room full of speakers playing Creed and said that they won't stop until the band breaks up? Oh goody then, you're free!

The point is, there ARE people who liked them you know? I liked them and I would have liked more albums. If you could -not- listen to them why does it bother you that they exist? And, even if you do, Stapp is going solo and the rest of the band (including the dude that left Creed) are making another band so . . . technically, there are two Creeds now.
