What is the better film The Goonies or its lesser known horror cult classic counterpart The Monster Squad?

For me The Monster Squad is the better movie.

The Goonies may be the better motion picture, it's hard to judge them in terms of quality. But my favorite is definetly The Monster Squad, I loved that movie as a kid.

I forgot all about Monster Squad. Great movie, BUT, it's no Goonies.

Monster Squad!!!

Although Gonnies is a great film, Monster Squad is a child-hood favorite of mine!

Is this ever getting a dvd release?:confused:

I used to love The Monster Squad. I'd really like to see it again soon. I wasn't that big on The Goonies, like most people seem to be. I guess I don't really have an answer, but thanks for the reminder on The Monster Squad.
