Ok here is question thats caused conterversy on another site i posted it on, If u had the money would u give it to George Romero to make the next Dead Trilogy Film??

I would, and If I had any more I would give it to him so he can make more movies because he is one of the best that unfortunately has not received the respect or recognition that he deserves from the film industry as a whole.
The reason I would support him financially is because I believe in him.
End of story.

I'll definitely give money to big george if I was rich. He's my favorite director in years and I miss him on the big screen. we MUST do something for george romero, he MUST make a new dead film, we MUST see dead reckoning.

If I had the money, I'd talk to George and say I'll give him the money to do this movie and would also be interested in funding the original script of 'Day Of The Dead', because that script was great. I'd love to see that.

I thought the next Dead film was getting made & it’s call Land Of The Living not Dead Reckoning. I 2 would love to see George remake Day because I heard there were more things George wanted to do with it but he was on a budget.:cool:

I wouldn't give a dime to Romero, simple fact is he doesn't need mine or anybody else's charity.

I might consider a small donation if he ever decided to re-release The Dark Half on DVD, a few conditions would apply however, namely: cast interviews, directors commentary, making of, featurette/s must be included.

I hope we do see another Dead film.

Yeah I'd definatley give him the money. All i'd ask for in return is just one hell of a film.

I wouldn't "give" him the money so to speak. I would invest in his movie, and would take a percentage of the gross.

If I had money, I mean much, much money, then I`d create a huge horror company. Like ten times Hammer and Universal combined and would gather all known and loved horror idols around me (that would include Romero) and would finance all of their movies and would also make tons and tons of my own movies. In my utopic fantasy I would create them such a financial environment that they didn`t have to make movies to get money, but so that they could make movies for themselves. I would also finance all indie horror movies which appealed to me if necessary and would give them totally free hands. As I believe that sometimes movies made with lesser money are better, then I`d deffinetly make real low-budget movies myself too. Well, my point is, if I had much much money, I wouldn`t give it directly to Romero, but make a company to finance all loved horror directors and also make my own movies.

Yeah, it`s totally utopic and impossible, but that`s my biggest dream.

Great dream you have Xipe Totec. I think a lot of schmoes share that very same dream.

IF I had the cash you bet your sweet asses I'd toss some money at George to get that 4th Dead film going. Hell as some other schmoes have pointed out I too would like to see the full draft of Day of the Dead realized on the big screen. He had to cut the script in half (jes' watched the extra's on the DOTD DVD) cause they didn't have the cash to do it. Again, that's something I'd love to see!

Oh hell yeah. I would totally enjoy being an extra in a horror movie, especially one of my favorite horror movie series ever....

I'd have to be really mucho rich. Plus I really like the idea of opening a horror movie place that finances all kinds of horror films and directors...all those we know and love, and the the new ones we've yet to discover. Horror movies get a real bad rap in the movie world, they deserve more respect than that. Romero is great, NOTLD is my favorite horror movie ever...so I'd have to finance the dead movies.
