They need to make more westerns. Open Range was very good, but it's a genre that really needs a boost

Medieval and fantasy films...preferrably ones that don't suck. I enjoyed films like EXCALIBUR and LADYHAWKE when I was a lad. I kind of miss them.

I wouldn't mind another round of good post-apocalypse flicks, either. :)

Film Noir - Whatever happened to the good ones like Sunset Blvd, Double Indemnity, and The Third Man. The last truly magnificent one was Mulholland Dr., but I would like to see more of these electrifying thrillers.

Well like the first person said I can always do with more War films! I don't mean just Wars of the past century...Medieval War films and Wars of the ancient World...thats why I can't wait for stuff like King Arthur and Troy, Alexander etc.

Also I agree with more Westerns!

More Film-Noir is a definite, but I want to see them in B&W ala The Man Who Wasn't There.

And where has the Sci-Fi genre been lately?! T3 and Matrix was like it last year! Give me more expansive exploration of the Universe...stuff like that.
