Best deaths ever... Part 1

I want to make a poll of the best deaths ever! To make it more interesting I've narrowed it down to ten categories, so let's have your suggestions for the best death in each.

The categories are...

1- Decapitated! (whole or partial removal of the head)

2- Impaled! (objects inserted into the body or head. Includes stabbing)

3- Bisected! (chopped in half or split down to the waist)

4- Dismembered!! (chopped to bits)

5- Eviscerated!!! (ripped up by zombies, cannibals or beasts)

6- Crushed! (either the head or the whole body)

7- Melted!! (by fire, acid or flesh eating bacteria)

8- Suffocated! (includes strangulation and drowning)

9- Whacked! (includes gunshots, falling from great height or getting hit by a car)

10- Zapped!!! (magical or psychic deaths. Any Elm Street or Wishmaster deaths not already covered)

1- If it counts, the head/spider scene from The Thing, if not, the "head shot" scene from Bad Taste.

2- Despite hating the rest of the movie, nothing made me laugh quite as much as the impalement scene from Dog Soldiers

3- Day of the Dead. 'Nuff said.

4- Not a horror movie, but can I suggest Monty Python and the Holy Grail?

5- Just pick one of the deaths in Day of the Dead. Seriously, they were all fantastic.

6- Despite hating the rest of the film, definately The Toxic Avenger, when they crush the kid's head with the car.

7- Evil Dead. The end scene rocked.

8- Well, um...

9- Err...

10- The scene with the exploding lips, boobs and arse in Leprechaun 3

If I might make a suggestion, perhaps exploding heads/bodies should be added to the list.

My favorite exploding head scene was the hobo scene from Premutos - Lord of the Living Dead. One of the funniest scenes from a comedy-horror ever.

3- Bisected! FD2 again. Not bisected, but trisected.

4- Dismembered!! Resident Evil. Laser scene w/ the leader.

5- Eviscerated!!! American Werewolf in Paris

6- Crushed! Ummmmmmmm. Been a while since I've seen Puppet Master movies, but didn't Pinhead crush a man's skull?

7- Melted!! not horror, but Volcano. Man in subway. or T2.

8- Suffocated! Cabin by the Lake or Carrie 2: The Rage

9- Whacked! ANOES 6. Kid falls onto spike or (not horror) Jade, woman his by car, or Identity Hit and no run.

10- Zapped!!! Leprechaun movies. Warlock movies.

11. Explode! Scanner movies. The Running Man

Exploding heads could be either 9- Whacked! (gunshots) or 10- Zapped! (Scanners, etc...). Thanks for the suggestion though.

6- I hated the flick, but the glass pane scene in Final Destination 2. what a howwwwwwwler!

8- Ally in sleepaway Camp..... 2? The Outhouse. BOOYAH!

9- it is a whack and it MUST be mentioned. Leatherface's bigg entrance in TCM.

10- TINA in NOES

4. Prison: Melting cell scene, and its aftermath.

6. Stage Fright: A few corkers to be seen here!.

7. Society: Shunting scene.

8. Scarecrows (Wesley) Knife in face.

9. The Dentist: Injected air bubble scene.

10. The Burning: Need I say more?.

Some of the most creative kills I have ever witnessed as a young horror movie perv.

6. Final Destination 2 - Little Timmy learns never to tease the birds around heavy pieces of machinery.

7. Aliens - The badass Drake getting drenched in acid blood.

8. Child's Play 2 - That snivelling little weasel in the car. It made me laugh. Don't fuck with the Chuck, biatch.

9. Final Destination - Terry doesn't look both ways and pays for it.

10. Club Dread - That little dipshit in the pool who gets fried by the T.V..
