What do you mean? The CFL season starts in just 4 months.
;)
But seriously, I really would take the CFL over the XFL any and every day of the week.
Yeah, but I'd take the XFL's hot cheerleaders any day of the week. :D

I was down with the XFL but im also a WWF fan so I enjoyed the crossover.
I think Vince put too much money into it from the get go that if it didnt do well it would die. He should have been more subtle about it and let it grow but Vince doesnt know the word subtle,
The game itself was OK from what I can remember and the extras was a nice fit. He had a good idea, football in the offseason, but it just didnt click...too much money involved too soon.
Im not sure of the exact year the XFL started but just think we could have the XFL Superbowl 3 any day now!
:)
What was that term they called the last game???

Wasn't it the 'Million Dollar Game' or something like that.
The only player I remember from the XFL was 'He Hate Me'.

As for the play in the XFL, once Vince stopped with a number of the gimmicks and just let the players play beginning in about the 3rd or 4th week of the season, the gameplay got much better. For a few players, the XFL lengthened their career, namely Tommy Maddox and Rod Smart ("He Hate Me").
By the way, Arena Football is on every weekend on NBC. These games are fun to watch consider the back and forth, high scoring nature of the games.

Maybe so, but that was a double edged sword. I think he should have went completely over top with gimmicks and made it more like wrestling, it was his only chance. What it boiled down to was a bunch of second rate players who couldn't make it in the NFL or Canada just playing football. That isn't exactly a winning formula for ratings or to create interest.

I agree....he should have had the games rigged. Had the winner already mapped out. Have crazy things happen during the game. He should not have played it as a strait game. Sure people couldnt have then gambled on the game but who knows, it could still be here.

not to disrespect but the xfl was nothing and i also think that the arena league is nothing as well. but different things for different people...and He Hate Me is not playin w/the panthers ha...that makes it all better
The last game was "The Big Game At The End".
