A Little Change of Pace

A lot of people make posts or even entire threads about movies that they hate. This thread is made for people to actually say something nice or something they liked about a movie that they despised. Okay I will start:

SPOILERS FOR HALLOWEEN RESURRECTION:

Despite the fact that I hated this movie and thought it was garbage I really liked the opening. Myers finally gets what he has wanted for more than 20 years. I personally wished that he would have killed Laurie a lot sooner in the series but then it wouldn't have had the chance to serve as the saving grace for Resurrection. I also like the fact that Myers was clever enough to hand his mask to the inmate who was reciting the histories of different murderers.

So hopefully people will take a cue from me and state something positive about a movie they dislike.

Well I hated Teenage Caveman alot but I'll admit that it did feature some good gore and some of the nudity was good but most of it was handled to sleezy.

I really didn't like Dracula 2000, but they did do a cool spin on the origins of Dracula.

I hated the Satanic Rites of Dracula but I did appreciate the death of dracula, I though it was preatty original.

Although I absolutely dispiced GHOST SHIP: I must admit that the atmosphere and settings are very, very creepy. But I also must admit that the opening everyone seems to praise didn't do shit for me. 3/10.

And although I absolutely hated Halloween: Resurrection, I thought the way they 'brought Michael back' was really smart. 4/10.

And finally, although I hated LXG like no movie ever, I must admit that the effects on Hyde are pretty cool...but only the effects. 2/10.

Though I hated Halloween Resurrection, I enjoyed the way they brought Michael back,and enjoyed the fact that Laurie FINALLY got killed...The look of Brad Loree wasn't bad either.

Jeepers Creepers 2: Although the movie was wretched imo the scarecrow scene looked kickass.

Halloween Resurection: When the real MM is walking behind the fake MM is one of the funniest things i've ever seen.

Faust: You get to see Jeffery Combs with feathered 80's Eric Clapton hair.

Even though I didn't enjoy H20 the way Michael finally died would have been absolutely perfect had it not been for the equally bad sequel to follow.

Okay, now although I don't particularly like TCM 2 I can say there were two things I liked about it. LEATHERFACE crashing through the radio station. That REALLY caught me off guard and that hardly EVER happens to me. I also liked the finale. The final ten minutes with Stretch and Lefty battling the family was pretty cool. The movie could have had a cool premise but instead it is sorely lacking. ESPECIALLY when compared to the original.
