Hrmmm, look out my fellow schmoes I have... an idea.

Not just any idea, but quite possibly the greatest idea ever or it just might be the worst... it is indeed your decision, but either way... I've been thinking, which is quite the achivement in itself. About what you might ask? Well, you know how you see best-of lists, the critics choices, Rolling Stone's shitty 500 greatest albums, guitar God's... the so-called Hall of Fame or this and that... well, whatever, it does indeed get annoying, so here and now, on JoBlo, I say we create our VERY OWN Music Hall of Fucking Fame.


No shitty nominations for the one-hit wonder or lip-singing bastards who deserve about as much credit as the shit in our toilets! None of that self-important, boring, dull and annoying-ass-poo we've had crammed down our throats day after day.

No! Never! Bah! I say us schmoes each selection a band, or artist, your choice,... and together.... we basically make them God-like. Why we love them, listen to them, why they do it for us, why they deserve it, need it and should most definitely be apart of the coolest club ever known to man. Basically, it's this thread's job to get any schmoe who digs music why they should be listening to this guy or gal or group of guys and gals.

How do we go about getting the first musician? No clue... that's where you come in!

Let's hear your opinions on the matter and let's see if we can get this going and create a very huge and cool and hip and awesome and downright totally sweet HALL OF FUCKING FAME for the musicians that matter!

I say you pick out two people's suggestions out of a hat. Then have an old fashioned vote off. The winner would then be that months nominee and the moderator could sticky a thread just on that artist for awhile where everyone could pay tribute to why they like that particular artist. Then we could eventually move on to the next vote off etc.. etc...

Hmmm, I like... alot. It's easy enough. I'll let some more votes go through until we decide to pick out of the hat.

Oh, and since we're gonna pick out of a hat, it's only reasonable for only one nomination for each group or artist. So if someone says Pixies, and you were, then pick someone else, cause they were already nominated.
