Well...okay I saw House of the Dead last Saturday and I have one question....What was so bad about it?! Sure the acting/dialogue was horrible but I thought it was a pretty good movie. Not horror really more of an action movie. It made me jump a few times and I thought it was kinda gory. I didn't see much anything wrong with it except for the acting and dialogue...Can someone point out to me why it was so badly trashed?

Yep, it is a flawed, but not bad movie.

But the dude who made it (whose name actually escapes my mind) is still the anti-christ.

It's Uwe Boll.

I wonder, this movie is still in theaters here. I don't know if I should see it.

Oh, and I see "Jonathan Cherry" as being cast . . . is this the same Jnathan Cherry as in FD2? (Rory).

Thank you, I'm going to have to read through the bible again. And yes, it is Jonathan.....he is pretty eh...bland here. Thank god I'll always have FD2 to fall back on.

Actually, I believe his real name is Satan, Master and Overlord of the Dark, Fiery Underworld / "Filmmaker."

its a love it or hate it movie many would say...but isn't that EVERY movie?

i am right smack down in the middle...didn't LOVE it,but didn't hate it either,I enjoyed it,and had fun in the theaters with it,and infact,I just did a trade in which I'll be recieving a DVDR of this....no shame to me in digging this one...

the only thing that really STILL gets to me and confuses me is why people think Jonathan Cherry is such a good damn thing...everyone got so pumped and psyched to see him be in this and say he was the best thing about it,but to me,he was one of the worst...the guy fucking sucks so bad as an actor and I can't stand the very sight of him, that being stated the minute I first laid eyes on him in FD2....

Everything sucked here. The plot, the direction, the dialogue, the acting, the fx, the zombies, the music, the final twist and the ending.

That's pretty much the whole movie, so, I guess pretty much everything sucked. The only things I liked here were one or two cool gore scenes.

Oh I hated it. Thank God that I walked into Kill Bill later that night at the theatre.

Saw a REAL movie.

I hated the movie until zombie heads started exploding and footage of the game was put appeared in the movie. Then I didn't take it serious anymore.

How can you really hate a movie that gives people game overs when they die?...

JONATHON CHERRY also has a very small role in THEY as one of the lead dude's drop-out flat mates. He and this other guy spend all day in front of the tv boozing and eating and the lead gets pissed off with them.
