Whose monster movies do you enjoy more those of Hammer studios or the more well known films of Universal?

Me I enjoy Hammer's movies more.

There should've been an option to vote for them being equal, but nevertheless went with Universal ever so slightly. Came down to the franchise series situation since both studios were so instrumental in shaping horror movie history. Hammer has the best Dracula series, and for many variables I think both studios' Frankenstein series are equal for their own respective reasons. However Universal also had successful Mummy and Invisible Man series, as well as the irreplaceable Wolf-Man, which Hammer's Oliver Reed couldn't quite reach albeit great acting. And I don't count the Creature From the Black Lagoon on Universal's side either because that series didn't start till '54, when technically the Universal horror era went out in '45....or '48 if you count the monster mish-mosh with Abbott and Costello...whew...i'm winded...

I love Lee and Cushing, but I loved "The Invisible Man", "Frankenstien", "The Bride of Frankenstien"... so I swing to Universal.
