Oh man, this is one of my favorite animes (along with Trigun)! From the jazz-like opening theme, until the closing theme (Shine by Mr. Big) you are in for a hell of a treat! The voice acting is superb (with one or two execptions), the stories are (mostly) well done, the artwork is excellent, and the heroes and villians are memorable (Alucard and Paladin Alexander Anderson really stand out). Buy it, watch it, love it!

I FUCKING LOVE IT!!!!!!! Another lover of this ace anime series! I have the whole she-bang on DVD! Alucard rocks the boat man. Fine upstanding vampiric citizen!

I haven't seen them but Tagia here has put a couple of guns to my head telling me to. I'll buy the box set.

As for horror anime, I'm in LOVE with the series "NightWalker" and I really like "BoogiePop Phantom".

The best episodes (IMHO) are number's 5&6 (Brotherhood & Dead Zone) (The Valentine Brothers two part), 3&7 (Sword Dancer & Duel) (The episodes where Palidin Alexander Anderson appears) and 13 (Hellfire) (The final fight between Alucard & Incognito)

I am praying for a second season to this anime, gimmie more!!!

I can't get enough of this series. I am upset that I bought all the DVDs single instead of waiting for the box set.


I hope they come out with a new season or continuation.

Great series, awesome concept, good animation and Alucard is one of the coolest anti-heroes ever (An ass-kicking vampire who's proud of being a vamp, that's not something you see everyday).

Unfortunately, I only own the first five episodes, which are all self-contained... haven't been able to find the others, so I know I'm missing a lot... also wish the series had more gore in it, but I can let that go.

The last episodes are rather violent and have a considerable amount of gore, I think, I haven't watched my copies in awhile.

You should really check them out, at least download them if anything. :D

Tagia Romero (yeah that super cool babe/schmoe) suggested I check this one out and I instantly fell in love with it. I saw the first sex episodes and loved em, the animation is excellent and the character of Alucard is one cool vampire. Great series, but pricey! The boxed set is selling for about 125 bucks over here!

No, you're not weird (at least not that I know.;)). Although the series doesn't have too many sexy moments, there are a few (the bit with Victoria and the "priest", and Integra and her "sister" do come to mind).
