Favorite Hockey Movie!!! (It's about goddamn time)

Since this is the last season of the NHL for another 7 or 8 years :D, I thought it be appropriate to finally have a poll for your favorite hockey movie.

Note: I didn't include the second Slapshot movie because it was a straight-to-video release (I don't consider those "real movies") and besides nobody would have voted for it anyway.

Slap Shot (1977)

This is a tough one. There really isnt that many great Hockey movies unlike say Baseball. Its a tough sport to really capture on film.

Im not a big fan of Slapshot. Ive seen it about 11 times and I always end up changing the channel...its up there with Caddyshack in my book as two movies that are loved but I dont really get.

That brings me to The Mighty Ducks...I have to say I do enjoy the first one to a degree but while I can sit through it, it certainly isnt the "best" Hockey flick.

I have yet to see Miracle and I have a feeling that when I do see it if will become number one on my list.

Which brings me to Mystery Alaska. I enjoyed this movie very much for reasons I still can explain. But its my choice regardless!!!
