I've already seen it once. I may see it one more time after it's died down.

Once is enough for me.

This is not the type of movie that you see more than once. My friend Michelle, who is very religious, explained it to me as it would cheapen the message if you kept seeing it. I don't necessarily agree with that, but the film can definitely stand with just the one viewing. It's very comparable to Schindler's List in that sense.

I saw it on Saturday and have not been able to get it out of my head I hope to see it once more at the theatre.

I've seen it twice, enough times to be moved AND point out its problems at the same time. That's it for me.

I've already seen it. I'd like to see it 3 more times, but I doubt that will happen. I'm going to try and squeeze in one more time, though.

I don't think I'll pay money to go see it. Maybe I'll rent it one day if I get overly curious, I'm just not going to go see it just because everyone says I should or because everyone is talking about it. Don't think me a heathen scum or anything, I'm just not that religious.

I've seen it twice and I doubt I'll see it again. It is indeed a masterpiece, but it's too hard to sit through again.

Zero times. I don't have much interest in Jesus getting his ass kicked for 2 hours

Zero times. Brutal movies that exist simply to shock the audience for brutality's sake, aren't really my bag. Supposedly there are many scenes of Jesus being beaten extremely violently, and my friend said she found it very anti-semitic. There is just absolutely nothing about this movie that is drawing me towards it. So, no.

On average, I'll probably go to the theater 20 times a year... that being said, I don't go and see movies at the theater just for "controversy's sake". I go and see them because they heavily appeal to me.
Before this Mel Gibson schpeel, I didn't rush to watch/buy the Ten Commandments every Easter, nor attempt to catch Jesus of Nazareth, or any of the other films that came out in religious perspective, so I'm not rushing for this one just because it made a story on the "heavily touted" Fox News. I may rent it, but it'll be in that list of "maybes" that sit on my "to rent list" for a thousand years, just like "The Italian Job".

I'll see it eventually, form an opinion and see what happens from there.
