Fiona Apple's "When The Pawn" has had a few spins as too has any Tool song.

I <3 Sad Bastard music
Aerosmith - What it Takes
Aerosmith - Hole in my Soul
Beatles - Eleanor Rigby
Bon Jovi - Alway
John Mayer - Comfortable
Sister Hazel - Your Winter
Candlebox - Far Behind
Counting Crows - Lond December
Elvis - Cryin' in the Chapel
Rolling Stones - Paint it Black
Rolling Stones - Honkey Tonk Women
Rolling Stones - Dead Flowers
Poison - Every Rose has it's thorn (you can never go wrong with the power ballad)

I am sure I could think of more. Personally when I am breaking up, I like listening to heavier stuff while being bitter, in addition to the sad bastard music.

Lordy, there are many. I usually listen to something that any other day would make me feel good, but when I break-up with a lady it gets me all depressed.
"Two of Us" The Beatles
"Save Me" Amie Mann
"Someone Saved My Life Tonight" Elton John
"I Wanna Hold Your Hand" The Beatles
...and so on. Just about every song I like gets me depressed when I end a relationship.

There's no point listenin' to sad music when your sad... especially when it's the stupid bitch's fault! (no disrespect to anyone)
The best is '7 Words' by The Deftones... gets your anger out beautifully,
Or 'Tupelo' by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds... especially when your dancing naked in a frenzy of hate, pasion and heartbreak... trust me.
I was only naked if you think it's acceptable.
