Most of the times on these boards people ask what films had the best death scenes and such i thought i'd ask my fellow schmoes which horror (or any)films had the most disturbing violence & gore not necessarly movies that were extremely graphic "like Kill Bill and F vs J" but violence that got under your skin or just flat out disgusted u. So give me ur picks and a reason why.

Heres my picks,

Irreversible- The first 25 mins of this movie imo contian some of the most vicious and nausiating brutality i've ever witnessed on the big screen, for me it was very VERY! hard to watch so much so that i dry heeved at least twice and trust i've seen some sick fucking flicks. While the now infamous fire extinguisher head bashing scene is extremely sick and realistic, the savage 10 min rape scene is what really did me in it really shows how ugly human nature can be.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre- While it does have a few quite graphic scenes T.C.M. is more intense brutal and sadistic than it is gorey, .......SPOILERS....... the entire nasty scene of Leatherface putting Andy on the Hook then torturing him was gut wrenching for me his horrible screams went straight through me and it seemed to last forever. Like Irrevesible T.C.M shows u how vile and insane violence can be.

Even though I didn't like the remake of TCM, it did have some gore that was unpleasant, but I thought the original was more violent for some reason. I guess I just liked the original better.

Cabin Fever had some very disturbing scenes in it. It was kind of gross sometimes, and it takes quite a bit to faze me.

August Underground's Mordum was pretty nasty. I thought Irreversible was weak, boring, and lame. Sorry.
