Hey all. I'm doing some research for a project for my Mass Communications class. I'm doing a presentation on horror films over the years, and it'd be a great help if you guys voted for what you like most in a horror film: plenty of blood, guts, and nudity, or atmosphere, suspense, and psychological terror...or both, if that's the case. Just vote for which one fits you most and please provide a couple of movies to represent your choice.

Thanks in advance!

It depends on what mood I'm in, so I went with both.

Blood/Boobs-Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday, Humanoids From the Deep, Blood Feast II: All U Can Eat
Suspense/Atmosphere-Black Christmas, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Nosferatu (remake)

Guess I'm in the minority since I'm the only one so far who voted for psychological suspense. If you want T&A, watch Cinemax after 10pm or rent porn.

I like both. I also like to see something weird that no one's done before, it makes stuff more scary.

Examples? Well, A Nightmare on Elm Street is a good example, as is Hellraiser, Wishmaster, Final Destination. Yep, more weird deaths please...

Many thanks to the schmoes who participated! I presented my project last month and got some good reception from the class (especially the ones who were interested in knowing what BUBBA HO-TEP was all about). Thanks a bunch!

I said both. I normally lean towards intellectual fare, but blood and boobs rock on late nights.
