Did anyone like KINGDOM HOSPITAL?

I personally liked it. I'm a sucker for anything King, even if King isn't nearly as good a screenwriter as he is a novelist and short story writer. But the show had enough weirdness, humor, questions, and likeable characters to keep me interested. Can't wait to see what the hell happens.

It was okay. I think because it is a series, I'll have to see the whole thing, ponder it all, then say whether I liked it or not. There are some great characterizations forming, but also some annoying stereotypes that are kind of "Kingish" in that you see him putting people like that in all of his filmed works and you wish he'd stop it because they are dislikable enough to detract from the overall picture.

I haven't paid attention to this at all. Curious, have they actually made this into a series or a long mini-series? I loved The Kingdom and I was rolling my eyes when I heard King was behind this. So I kinda avoided at all costs. But if it's a mini-series, maybe renting with a bunch of friends would suffice.

i just couldn't believe how bad the acting was...as well as the (mental voice) by the main character....and what was with the fucking talking animal?? I thjought I was watching Dr. Doolittle...I was very dissapointed..I looked forward to this for so long...hopefully the new Secret Window movie will be better...

It will be a 15 hour mini series like The stand but longer. I thought it was great you just really have to pay attention. As for the Sloth animal, It is the keeper of the gates ie. Death. It let the d00d live in return for a favor. Im not going to spoil this anymore. I recommend this to anyone who likes twisted story lines ala Dreamcatcher-ish. I will definately be watching the whole thing! ;)

I like it so far because so far it has potential. I think that the "I'll Be Seeing You" song was way out of place and it just annoyed the shit out of me. I will continue to watch in hopes that I can complete it. I hope that in the middle it does not turn stupid. I have found that in my own experiences any story involving a child turns stupid as hell. I like that Andrew McCarthy is in this. He is a good actor and I have not seen him in much in quite a few years.
I do not mind that King took an already existing story and made it somewhat his own by expanding upon it. King is not a disrespectful person when it comes to things like that.

This show is getting worse! Did anyone like the scene where the nurses and doctors sing and dance? Maybe it was meant to be creepy but I found myeslf laughing my ass off! I only watch it now to see how bad it gets........

Don't get me wrong I love it, but the previews made it look like it was going to be super creepy! The only creepyish thing to me was when the d00d was smacked by the van, and the introduction of the Sloth creature. I hope this mini-series gets cracking soon in the "creepy" department! Of course no matter what I'm gonna watch the whole thing!;)

I too was hoping from coverage and such that it would be creepy. I didn't expect...this. Definitely not my cup of tea
