First taste of horror.......

What was the first horror movie you remember watching? This is a tad different from horror addictions start.

Mine is, The Shining when I about four at a drive in theater. The twins scared the hell out of me. Fortunatly, someone put it back. <eg>

Long time ago--I didn't see horror in a theater, but on t.v., and I think it may have been that last segment of Trilogy of Terror with that hellish zuni doll (still freaks me out).

Scars Of Dracula when I was six was my first horror film as part of a Hammer film festival my grandfather took me to.

i cant remember exactly, Predator is the earliest film i can think of that was slightly horror, i must have been 7 or so

I was like 7 or 8 at the time. I was being babysat by a cool dude from church. A horror movie was on TV. He watched it. I watched it with him. Later that night, when my mom came home, she went out to the video store to take back a movie. I went with her. Somehow, I stumbled into the horror section of the store. There, I found the precise movie I just watched on TV - Friday The 13th Part VI: Jason Lives! I never left the horror section since... what a great way to get a taste of horror!
