The Shinning remake. Although it was a remake, I think the guy from Wings fit the part.

The 70's were a pretty inovative time for horror movies and T.V. shows. Alot of great films came out of that time, but there was one guy who was responsible for a large amount of it. That man is Dan Curtis, he created the Dark Shadows T.V. series and movies like:
The Norliss Tapes (Cool rarely seen modern day vampire flick!)
The Night Stalker( My favorite Made for T.V. vampire flick..kolchak)
The Night Strangler( Excellent follow up film! Great story too!)
I Desire ( A highly recommended vampire flick! it features Brad Dourif and David Naughton)
Trilogy of terror
Scream of the Wolf
Another favorite is directed by Bill Norton, featuring FX by a young Stan Winston. GARGOYLES!

All the Kind Strangers is a thriller staring Samantha Eggar and Stacy Keach. They are two reasons to watch right there. These Bratty orphan kids kidnap adults in the woods to find parents. Kind of slow and reeks of the seventies (a positive) but I got into it.
