Here are the most famous:

Fulci (The House By The Cementary, The Beyond, Zombie)
Mario Bava (Schock, Blood and Black Lace, A Bay of Blood)
Lamberto Bava (Schock, Demons 1 and 2, Macabre)
Michele Soavi (Stage Fright, The Sect, The Church)
Ruggero Deodato (Cannibal Hollocaust)
Lenzi (The Rats of Manhantan, The Eyeball Murders)

and my favorite horror director mister Dario Argento.
From him I own: The Bird with The Crystal Plumage, Cat O' Nine Tails, Deep Red, Suspiria, Inferno (my favorite movie from Argento), Opera, The Styndal Syndrom and Sleepless.

Argento is a genius! Anyone who's seen his stuff will know why. Fulci's was a good director too.

Lucio Fulci, definately.

Mario Bava, was the 1st so all the others pretty much have to look up to him and he has never let me down yet

Fulci and Lamberto Bava are my favorites. Not a Argento fan though, can't get into his films like i can with Fulci.

man, my love for both Fulci and Argento runs so strong, it would be like picking my favorite child....
Bava's really close there too and can't say anything bad about Soavi either

I just love Italian horror...

Lucio Fulci for sure. Argento is good to, but i've only seen one of his movies, that one being Suspiria.
