I just finished watching the splendid little gem "the convent". And it cracked me up! I couldnt remember the last time i actually laughed at a horror movie...not because it was so bad its good..but because it was genuinely funny! I mean..those two satanists really were a riot!
So, heres my question to you lot....
When was the last time u laughed in a horror movie, and heres the challenge, for the right reasons! As in the script and such??
And what is ure all time favourite really funny horror movie?

Does Evil Dead 2 count? In my opinion, Braindead (a.k.a Dead-Alive) is more a comedy with horror themes than a horror/comedy.

.Bubba-ho Tep is the latest film billed as a horror that I laughed at.
Club Dread was the latest comedy I saw that had horror elements.
Dead Alive and Evil Dead II are my favorites, though :D.

Chopping Mall ( you can't take this super entertaining slasher seriously )
Return To Horror High ( the scenes with the producer and the director are hilarious)
The Convent (especially Frijole and the two workshipers, god I laughed my ass I have this movie, of course)
Blood Diner is completly crazy but super fun to watch.

Dead Alive is the only movie which seamlessly blends humor with horror, IMO.

An American Werewolf In London... a classic which combines 'proper' horror with humour, IMO. More recently, a couple of the deaths in Final Destination 2 made me snigger. (Spoilers, highlight to read) For instance, where the 'lucky' fellow eventually dies when the ladder falls on him, and when the guy gets zig-zaggedly cut into pieces and slowly falls apart!

Evil Dead 2 and Bad Taste. Was American Psycho sposed to be funny? It was a kind of satire I guess. Liked that too...

Return of the Living Dead is probably the funniest scary movie ever.
