I've heard about people buying it, but I heard it's supposed to come out in fall.
I'm confused.

Theres one coming out this tuesday that only has an audio commentary, I went to try and get it from Blockbuster yesterday and the guy told me he had it in the back but couldnt sell it to me due to the fact that if he did hed have to pay a 5000 dollar fine so the people who have it now are lucky they got it, the one that comes out in Sept is a big box set with lots of features.

That crushed my hopes. :(
I've been waiting 2 years for this to come out on special edition DVD. So close, but so far away!

the one coming out tuesday is the Theatrical Edition, the guy at Blockbuster told me that there was alot of DVDs out there which suprised me because I only know of the ones coming out now.
Im not really big on buying the box set because to me Im satisfied with an audio commentary on a dvd thats really all I look for on any dvd.

I heard that the commentary is pretty good and has some great information in it. Knowing me I'll probably get too impatient and just buy the single disc one. I love the theatrical cut but I'm not sure of the other two cuts which will be on the boxset so just the theatrical cut would be good enough for me.

I picked this puppy up last week. Not the box set mind you the US Theatrical version. The transfer was pretty good and it made the film almost look shiny and new again.
There are a few extra's on it. Nothing to get your panties in a bunch about. Romero Bio, commentary with Savini , Romero and some other guy whose name I can't remember, some radio spots and a couple of other things. Like I said, nothing too spectacular. I'll be getting the "box" set that comes out in the fall too. I'm a bit impatient. :)

Nothing official has been announced. But the big rumor is 3 different cuts of the film. We'll see... it's been "rumored" for so long.

Even though the extras seem nice... the single disc theatrical would be good enough for me.

It would be so excellent if the included the Document of the Dead feature on one of the discs as a bonus feature. I haven't seen that in well over six years and I have always hoped it would be included on a DVD release (whether included or stand-alone) for years.
*fingers crossed*
