Has anyone read this/about this? I am interested. Apparently, it has more to add to the movie.

Actually MR. Crawler I own it and it isnt anything difforent from the movie. They make the tinyest little changes that it wont matter if it was in the movie. Basically its the movie taken from the screen and written on paper. The ending is the alternate on the DVD though.
Its not a bad book no, it good, its just really not difforent from the movie at all really. Since i loved the movie I liked the book. So if you dont want to actualy read the movie. Dont read it.

I think I'll buy it.

Because, sometimes you can get further in the back story, or have some extra stuff that wasn't included in the movie due to time constraints/studio interference/other things. Also, I like to see what's going on in a character's head, which the novels often allow.

Yeah but with a book you read it once and that's it but with a movie you can watch it dozens of times. Also movies feature music... do books? I'm not trying to sound like I'm illiterate or just plain dumb but I hate books. Although I sometimes will read screenplays for films.

There's a trade off, true. But, you can read a book more than one, just like with a movie. And if you want a soundtrack, you can play some music on the stereo while you read.;) :D

Very true - I just read the Halloween 4 novelization and there's more depth to it than the film (which I also love):)

At least with the novel you won't have to put up with the horrid acting.

If they made a Freddy or Jason novel series I'd definately read it. I'm thinking of getting the Resident Evil series.
