Haven't you seen a movie where there is a scene so tense that it is hard to handle? I'll name some

Dark Water-there are scenes in here that are just incredibly tense. Hideo Nakata is a great director in build-up. WARNING SPOILERS! highlight to read The part when the mother sees her daughter passed out on the floor from the tub and takes her away but sees her actual daughter walk out moments later. When she realizes that the ghost is behind her is just so freaky.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre(Original): All about that chase scene

I always found that scene amusing, as prior to watching the film a friend of mine described the chase scene as: "Like something out of The Benny Hill Show, but gone bad." Now whenever I watch it, I always remember that.

Aliens had me on the edge of the seat the first time I saw it. I'm sure there are others, but I can't recall any specific scenes at the moment.

Yes, the sequence in Scream 2 with Sydney and Hallie trapped in the car is, I think, a classic suspense moment, no matter what one's opinion of the movie might be.

Just saw a movie last night called Hypnotic (which I posted about in Current/Upcoming Movies), and the climax for that one had me squirming about in my seat like no other movie has done for years.

I might get laughed at for this, but the T-Rex attack in the first Jurassic Park still has me gripping the seat whenever I watch it!

Damn right. And this scene will probably get overlooked because of the movie it's in. But I agree, that scene had me like a bitch.

I Personaly thought the tension in Verbinski's The Ring was pretty heavy.
