All right. You see them all the time: continuity errors, effects that don't quite work, film crews showing up in the background, etc. My question is, which one is your favorite? What's your favorite horror movie messup. One that made you laugh out loud, or groan because of the sheer stupidity of the filmmakers. Put them all here.

Here's my fave:

An early scene in Zombie Holocaust has a hospital orderly jumping out a window and plunging to his death on the ground below. The shot starts out showing a human jumping out the window from inside the hospital. The next shot shows the view from outside the window where our suicidal human has mysteriously transformed into an obvious dummy. The dummy then falls to the ground. Upon impact, shown from above, the dummy's arm goes...ROCKETING OFF THE REST OF THE BODY. The next shot shows a human laying there all bloody, but with both it's arms intact!

The shot is so obvious it's a wonder it was even kept in. There's no effort whatsoever by the filmmakers to hide this blatant error. Oh well, it was Italian so what do you except.

Several of the errors in House of the dead. Especailly when it did the 360 matrix camera move around them and they were carrying different guns each time. haha.

I saw that goof in Zombie Holocaust as well, that was great!!!

There was a TV show here in the UK the last few weeks called Garth Marenghi's Dark Place which was a homage to low budget horror crap. Hope all the UK schmoes caught it, it was hilarious!

in aracnid a very crappy movie indeed. i saw a woman talking to a man she had a very serious face and then a large fluffy gray microphone falls down a nd lands on the grassy follr and you see a hand reach out and pull it out of the scean. that was funny and they were all stranded on an island inhabbited by giant spiders so the microphone really broke the tension. wait.....what tension.......it was the worst spider movie ever

In The Beyond near the end when they get on the elevator the guy with the gun was loading the bullets down the barrel. HA!

in Alice Sweet Alice when the disgusting guy that lives in the Apt down from Alice knocks over his goldfish bowl you can see a film crew members hand reach out and catch it from the left hand corner of the shot. Too funny.

There were many in House Of the Dead, the one that really remember dying laughing at was when you see the actor palying one of the many zombies jumping off the trampoline. Very fuuny, I can't wait to read some of the others that people have found that I missed.

Dawn Of The Dead:

You can see the blue trampolene that Mr Savini uses to jump backwards with after being hit by the truck.

The zombies disappear from the field after the rednecks shoot the car and blow it up.

When Fran gets into the Helicopter in one scene, you can see a perfect reflection of the cameraman.

Garth Merenghi's Dark Place is fucking sensational. I had heard nothing about it and so didn't catch it until about episode 4 of 6. Hopefully Channel 4 will do the right thing and bring it out on DVD.

Yeah, that was a truly class show from the guy who once played the bullshitting computer geek from The Office. Did you catch the episode where they were ripping the piss out of us Scots?

I've got a few Goofs of my own:

1.) In Friday The 13th Part 8: Jason Takes Manhattan, the heroine stabs Jason in the left eye with a pen; when he removes his mask, however, his eye is intact. Not only that, but in the previous movie, Jason had no left eye, only a right eye.

2.) In Sleepaway Camp 3: Teenage Wasteland, the stunt dummy's head falls off when Maria is run over at the beginning.

3.) In Halloween 2, Michael's hand is not burned when he shoves Karen's face into the boiling water.

4.) In Halloween: Resurrection, Michael lowers his knife twice after Freddie breaks into the garage.

Interview with the Vampire

Silly Claudia. When she cuts her hair during her little tantrum, she slams the scissors down and stalks into the other room. When the shot of her entering the other room happens, she has the scissors in her hands!

I'd say the biggest goof of all was every Halloween sequel being made.

In Sleepy Hollow, when the horseman decapitates magistrate Phillips he sticks the sword through the top of the head to pick it up. The next scene shows the sword sticking through his neck.

In Chopping Mall when Kelly Maroney (Suzy ??) walks through the corridor you can see the upper part of the camera.
