I will see:
The One
The Wash
Spy Game
(sidewalks of NY) if available in Florida
Shallow Hal
Domestic Disturbance
Training Day
Bandits (maybe for the 4th time)
that is probably it. Then I will go out of town to maybe West Palm beach or Miami. Who knows.

You're planning on seeing eight movies over Thanksgiving weekend? Wow.

I want to see Spy Game really bad, and I may go to Harry Potter, even though we've already had our Thanksgiving up in Canada. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif

I usually rent movies during the holidays so I think I'll rent The Grinch and Planet Of The Apes since I didn't see them in theaters...

Hey Mike do NOT rent the Grinch! It's awful. Give Planet of the Apes a try though.

I will hopefully be seeing Harry Potter the Friday the 23rd or Saturday the 24th...

Thanks for the warning Benny but for some reason the holidays just make me want to see it. The Grinch is a holiday type of movie and I like to watch holiday movies around holidays. I never really wanted to see it that much before but now I just want to. I didn't really want to see Planet Of The Apes that much either but now I want to. Don't worry, I'll be sure to let everyone know what I thought of them.

Dont listen to Benny. I thought the Grinch was a good film (I said GOOD) and it is well worth the time to watch it - it is an excellent holiday film, and I am a sucker for holiday films.

Is it just me or do all the movies being released in the next few weeks look anywhere from barely decent to terrible?

Here's a list from Joblo's release dates:
November 23
Spy Game - could be pretty good I guess but the preview doesn't show me anything new, it's probably the movie I'm most likely to see out of all these
Black Knight - this looks really bad
Out Cold - ditto, looks like a straight to video flick
The Devil's Backbone - don't know too much about
Happenstance - it looks like Seredipity only worse
Sidewalks of New York - Ed Burns gave us a decent film (Brothers McMullen) then moved on to a worse film (She's the One). This looks like it could be a continuation of his downslide as a director.

November 30
Texas Rangers - I think everyone knows the baggage this one has
Behind Enemy Lines - way too many rocket point of views in the trailer, plus I'm not sure Owen Wilson can play a legitimate action star
The Affair of the Necklace - crappy period piece with Hilary Swank(I'll pass)

Anyway, my point is I'll save my money for December's releases which look a lot better http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif

-Shallow Hal
-The Man Who Wasn't There (if it actually does fucking come to my town!)
-The Wash

I'm also planning on renting "Blood Simple","Raising Arizona" and "Miller's Crossing" cuz they're the only Coen Brothers films i have not seen yet other than "The Man Who Wasn't There".I also might rent "Dr. Dolittle 2" and "The Grinch".I am buying a whole shit load of movies this weekend. My sister and I are taking alllllllllll of my dad's old empty beer cans to the grocery store to return. With all the freakin money i get i'm gonna go to Media Play and grab every movie i love that i don't own yet.
