This is where you talk about your "dream movie" (a movie which hasn't existed, but would be one you would definitely see).
Mine would be a trippy, disturbing sci-fi flick with the artwork and creature design done by H.R Giger, along with different versions of "Closer" by NIN played throughout the film.

Either a drama about Little League Baseball, or a biopic on D.W. Girffith

Oliver Stone's epic about the PTA or the Boy Scouts, both of which would have black and white footage of a dancing native american.
or......
Quentin Tarantino's sequel to The Passion of the Christ, The Vengeance of the Christ.

A mixture of:
mindfuck, film noir, intense and eerie atmosphere, mind blowing ending with a twist.........even better if it's set in L.A. Bizarre images, showing the dark of night in a quiet, but frightening manner, also daytime with a blindingly glowing sun set in the blue blue sky, roses blooming with a color of blood.
Directed by David Lynch (o'course)
And starring actors/actresses Naomi Watts (your average housewife), Brad Pitt (hustler), Edward Norton (drug dealer), Scarlett Johansson (young prostitute), Tom Cruse (creepy little midget who always appears throughout the film)

Film-Noir mixed with a bit of mind fuck, with music in the background by Tool, disturbing imagery to bring out the effects in the character, and a hip jive talking dog, whose favorite weapon is a 44 magnum, and does nothing but stare at female dogs or bitches all day. Hie's a cop, whose on the trail, of a serial killer, whose passion is to kill pimps and prostitutes so him and his partner a Charles Bronson, Steve McQueen, and Robert Forster mix stakeout all of the corners in town leading them into a world of violence, seduction, and greed. If Chris Cunnigham could direct this with some cool visual effects that would be the movie of my dreams!

First off what ever movie it is there would be a kick ass teaser type trailer that let's me know: who is in the movie, and what it is basically about.
After that I would know nothing else.
I wouldn't be able to see the script on the internet, I wouldn't see all the important scenes on TV and in previews. I would go into the theaters and be surprised every step of the way.
That being said I would want to see some type of action/thriller/mystery with some dark humor thrown in.
I'd like to see a good mix of kick ass known and unknown actors.
Interms of who's known (and this is off the top of my head I know I'll think of more later):
Ed Norton, Gary Oldman, Al Pacino, Michael Biehn, Robert Duvall, Larwence Fishburn, Chow Yun Fat, Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt, Dennis Hopper, Reese Witherspoon, Burt Reynolds, Denzel Washington....
The main thing is guyz like: Ben Afflek, Tom Cruise, Eddie Murphy, Jim Carrey ya'll can g'head and sit this one out. Your services will not be required.
The female lead would be played by some FINE ASS new comer where you say: "Who the hell is that? She's fuckin' beautiful!!!!"
Whatever the plot is conservative Christians and parents will HATE this movie.
It will be rated R or NC-17 for bullshit reasons.
It will have a running time of AT LEAST 2.5 hrs and you should come out wishing it were longer.
Multiple viewings would be required because of the subtle complexites of the plot and the characters.
It should win ZERO oscars and several MTV viewer awards.
No sequals.
During the movie I would think to myself 1 or more times:
1) I've never seen that before
2) I did not see that coming
3) I can't believe they just killed him/her off
4) I can't believe they just showed that
5) That was fuckin' funny
6) That was brilliant
7) Anyone who gives away this part is an asshole.
It would make me think.
It would make me forget that I'm in a theater watching a movie.
It would stay with me long after a I saw it.
It would have tons of quotable dialogue.
It would leave you with a lot to discuss as you leave the theater.
George W. Bush, Bill O'Reilley, Rush Limbaugh, and Dr. Phil would ALL hate this movie with a passion and would be determined that this type of filth which has no place in decent society would never be seen by our children.
The second time I see it I get blown in the theater by that hot actress from the movie that I never heard of before...

- The video game Resident Evil (REmake) adapted for the big screen. And if that's a success, then followed up by Resident Evil 2 & 3: Nemesis. A new uber-l33t Dead trilogy, as it were.
- A monster movie that takes elements of Aliens, Jurassic Park, Die Hard, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, and Reservoir Dogs, tosses 'em into a blender and hits the puree button. Bon appetit horror and action/adventure fans. The key, though, is that the movie should be taken seriously and not in a "winking at the audience B-movie" kinda way, but at the same time not lose its sense of humor. I find monster movies today are either way too damn serious to the point of laughability (Resident Evil), or they completely play the whole thing like it's a big fucking joke (Jurassic Park III).
- A crime saga starring Christopher Walken, Al Pacino, Joe Pesci, Robert De Niro, Ray Liotta, Kevin Spacey, James Cromwell, Dennis Hopper, Johnny Depp, Michael Biehn, Harvey Keitel and Pierce Brosnan.
If any of those actors can't be obtained, then it won't be worth doing.
- And...I'd support jackson's film 100% if Elisha Cuthbert and Sung Hi Lee were brought on board to participate in the festivities, and Julia Roberts being given the boot.
Pretty Woman? Maybe in 1991.
- Also, Hannibal's got a great idea, as does Albert.
"Aramaic motherfucker! Do you speak it?!"

A ensemble drama in the same vein of Magnolia/Short Cuts starring Gary Oldman, John Turturro, Naomi Watts, Zooey Deschanel, Alison Lohman, Emily Watson, Steve Buscemi, Morgan Freeman, Val Kilmer, Julianne Moore, Gene Hackman and Dustin Hoffman.
It would be directed by Darren Aronofsky.

Mine would be a series of short vignettes that were all related in some way, kinda like "Four Rooms". The vignettes would be based off actual great dreams I've had.

Shit, I have three different ones, different genres...but ok.
A film noir, with a murder mystery, but not an ordniary one. The film would be directed by David Lynch, screenplay by Woody Allen and Quentin Tarantino. The perfect romance story in the middle to seal it with a kiss. Not only the ending will blow me away, and fuck with my mind, this will happen to me at least three times. Of course, add a bit of comedy, but not too much to play it like a slapstick. A grey mist that blankets the town or city throughout the film.
Something like that.

I can't tell you, for fear that someone will steal my idea.
One day, I will make my dream movie into a real film, I swear it.
And the world will know it. Trust me.

Holy shit, that's hilarious.
My dream movie would actually be about 6 films. It is a faithful and kickass adaptation of Garth Ennis' PREACHER series. In my dreams, I'd direct, but man, that's be something awesome and unforgettable to see.
Anyone else up for a good PREACHER movie? If you haven't read it, go do it now.
