I wasn't too sure where to put this, so I just put it in general, Apologies if it's in the wrong section.

I have a question about this film (Slap Her, She's French). About it's release... It was supposed to be out a while ago (like a long while ago) but I know it was push backed a lot, and I kept reading stuff, but Im really in the dark about it -- I know it was never released at a theatre here, and is not on Video nor DVD. Is it still coming? Or do you think it wont hit my city at all? I searched some past threads and I know some dude in Belgium has it, and someone saw it on a flight on an airplane, but does anyone in the U.S, Canada (Im in Ont.) or elsewhere have it?

Thanks.

If you searched using "slap" & "french" or either using "Piper Pierabo" the actress in the movie..
Theres threads in the upcoming forums...
The distributor of the film ran into $$$ problems as I re-call. There was another "title wise I forget" was supposed to have come out also.
WELL........... the movie WAS supposed to have come out September 2003 soooo I dunno whats this time. I guess no other studio Warner, MGM, Paramount , etc Did not wanna rescue this struggling studio or are they Chapter 11 already?
What should have went down was either release to DVD or see if HBO or Showtime wanna make this movie exclusive to their networks. Oh, well thats just me babbling..... :D

It was in theaters here last summer and it's been out on DVD for a while. But it's not a very good movie at all, so if I were you I wouldn't be too upset about not being able to see it.

It was released in Spain as well, and it's on DVD already too. A while ago, I must add. It's a curious film, not bad but nothing special. Don't get upset if you can't see it in years, it's only worth for a lazy evening on DVD.

I've wondered about this film as well. Not really because I wanna see it, but because it was filmed at my high school when I was still attending.

One night I was stoned and wandering around, took a piss on Piper Perabo's trailer. Funny as hell. Security ran over and chased me away. So I hid in a sewer.

True story.
