Buena Vista Home Entertainment will release Miramax's "coulda-been-a-contender" Cold Mountain on June 29th. The two-disc set will feature a 1.85 anamorphic widescreen transfer and both Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS Surround audio options. Bonus materials will include two audio commentary tracks (with director/writer Anthony Minghella, actors Jude Law and Nicole Kidman and film editor Walter Murch), deleted scenes, the "Climbing Cold Mountain" documentary, "A Journey to Cold Mountain" behind-the-scenes making-of featurette, "Words & Music of Cold Mountain" live performances from UCLA's Royce Hall (including music from Alison Krauss, Sting, Jack White and readings from Nicole Kidman & Jude Law), conversations with the musicians, a storyboard-to-film comparison and theatrical trailers.
