Fan Commentaries

You there's not much fan commentaries on dvds. I mean there's filmmaker and cast commentaries but there should be more fan commentaries. Wouldn't it be great if you could have your own commentary for one of your favorite movies? What do you guys think about this?

It sounds like a cool idea.... at first.... but it wont ever happen, and I dont have a problem with it. Unless its some kind of special circumstance, why would I want to hear some fan I dont know talking over one of my favorite movies?

There was a similar thread about this here a while ago, where people entertained the idea of recording commentaries, then uploading them somewhere where people could download them....
Easier said than done though.

As I recall the Spiderman DVD has a record-your-own comeentary with your DVD rom.

I would have done it, but i dont have a mic.

I think thats pretty cool though.

I'd like to listen to 3 comedians during a movie, that would be cool. Carrot Top's commentary for The Rules Of Attraction was pretty funny, but would have been better if more people were there with him.
