Yeah, man, we're two years since series 2 finished and the DVD was one of the biggest all-time sellers for the BBC (though I believe series one far outstrips even that). We had the final two episodes at Christmas (two specials shown over the festive period) to wrap up all the loose ends. Everything was hilarious. Hope you get the second series soon...it's worth it.

The Office was really popular over here in Australia too. I might have to check it out ;) Are there special features?

The Second Series of the The Office arrives on DVD in Region 1 fairly soon, and I can't wait. I love everything about this series.

So...the series is done? Or are they making more? Because for as acclaimed a show as it was...to have only, what, 12 episodes, is pretty lame.

Apparently, you haven't seen Fawlty Towers

It's finished. Gervais and Merchant always maintained they did not want to ruin the series by making too many episodes.

I respect that in this day and age.

It's refreshing.

Nothing worse than milking the cash cow after the steak has been polished off...if you get my gist like.

Bad analogy.

Anyway,

It worked for Fawlty Towers...and The Office rarely hit a bum note humour-wise.

Kudos to Merchant, Gervais et al for leaving us panting for more.
